You Wanted A Perfect Explanation

Does one explain a kiss?

Or a mother's hug?

We make sand castles

Just to show our love

A poem explained

Is a poem dead

Where is the fun

In telling what I said

I know you wonder how

The meaning will appear

But if you know the trick

The magic disappears 

Call it smoke & mirrors

Call it light & shadow

Accuse it of being non sense

I'd love for you to do so

Like falling out of love

Like falling in a dream

Nothing has a reason

Nothing is all it means
