Every time I hear

The creaking exit door

I die a bit inside

I can't take anymore

I tarry on the roof 

I tarry on the stairs

To catch a glimpse of you

I tarry everywhere

But a life without you

I know just wouldn't be

I fear what you'll say

Would it be so bad
