Ode To Writer's Block

I'm not well today

I think I never was

I think I never will be

I think I'm at a loss

 

The garbage can is broken

The spillage running out

I would get up and fix it

But I'd rather sit about

 

The doctor said I ought to

Work-out outside my home

Eat only healthy stew

But what does the doctor know! 

 

I'm gonna make a movie

I'm gonna write a song

But first I need some money

Worth enough to buy a bong

It'll be written good

It'll be written deep

If I only get to writing

And not cough myself to sleep
