Sailing Under Sea
Hush, be still tonight
Peer when the tides flow free
It's mast broken, sails untied
Deep within the lapis luzuli
A fleshless arm of a sunken sailor
Reaches for the pearl of moon
For her sweetheart, he can't take her
Eyeless he lies, on his bed of doom
Emerald moss gaining on the hull
Rusting, rotting, forgotten
Usurped by the shark and the cuttle
Shimmering, lingering, softened
The treasure maps were robbed
Of their fortune, ink and mark
By sand, alas, the treasure was daubed
'How tragic', the fleet of souls remark
What more is there to say
Lost his life and lost the freight
Soon the sun will help him fade
Hush, be still tonight
